1000 Comments on TheTestEye the test eye
Very soon the 1000th comment will be published on thetesteye.com.
Comments are our main reason for writing blog posts, because they take our thinking further.
Our ideas are challenged, taken in other directions, opening new possibilities (and closing some…)

Anyway, I couldn’t agree more. I don’t have any where near as many on my blog, but the majority of them have sparked extra research for me…
I treat every blog (well, almost every blog) as a learning journey, and each comment I get seems to extend that journey… which is awesome! It kind of ‘forces’ me to extend the thought process in order to reply.
A credit to you all on this great blog for stimulating as much conversation as you do…

I would love to read more about how you apply your ideas in projects and assignments.
For example a report on how group testing worked in one of your assignments. How you practically implemented it, and what the pros and cons were. Just an example but hopefully you get what I am after.
The combination of first describing a concept, and then reporting on how the implementation went would be really interesting.
Keep up the good work and continue to produce interesting material!

Good suggestion Johan, experience reports give flesh to ideas.
However, it is not always you are allowed to share; and a bigger issue is that it takes quite some time to do this really well.
So I want to do this more, but need “good” projects, and more time/energy specifically for this.
I have some small things I can share, the longer ones will appear eventually, if you hang around for quite some time.
the main question have when trying to promote exploratory is my org is:
well it is interesting but do we record the tests we do ?
how as manager I control the tests done by my testers ?
how I produce metrics to top management
sharing test ideas is not the easiest idea to share !
